Michael Jordan will present Kobe Bryant into the 2020 Naismith Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Bryant, and daughter Gianna plus seven others were tragically killed when their helicopter crashed into the side of a mountain in Calabasas, California.
Along with Bryant, Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan will also be inducted, with Jordan also presenting Kim Mulkey during the ceremony on May 15.
“Kobe was my dear friend; he was like a little brother,” Jordan said in February 2020.
“When Kobe Bryant died, a little piece of me died… This kid had passion like you would never know. As I got to know him, I wanted to be the best big brother that I could be.”
When he was alive Kobe had said that he wanted to be indicted into the Hall of Fame by either Jordan or Phil Jackson.
