Up to 30,000 spectators will be allowed per day at the 2021 Australian Open, an official said on Saturday.
The figure is almost half of the usual attendance at the first Grand Slam tournament of the year, which will be held in Melbourne from Feb. 8 to Feb. 21.
The limit will be lowered to 25,000 on days when there are fewer games, according to Martin Pakula, sports minister for the state of Victoria.
