“I think it would be hilarious,” Paul admitted.
“I was hoping he would punch the TV [during their press conference]. If he did that it would have been one of the most legendary press conference moments ever, so he’s kind of a p**** for not.”
WBC champion Tyson was set to be in his brother’s corner at the event in Florida after training the 7-0 boxer ahead of the clash.
Paul sent a warning to the world heavyweight champion and refused to rule out the two meeting in the ring: “I’ll fight the whole family. If Tyson moves down to cruiserweight, I’ll fight Tyson, no problem.”
Paul defeated fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson, retired MMA fighter Ben Askren and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in his previous bouts.
Woodley has been announced as Paul’s new opponent, with the two men set to reignite their feud that preceded their clash in August.
