Geraldine Feakins, Naveen’s mathematics teacher, who was married and 14 years older than him, was his first love.

However, the two of them began a romantic adventure that eventually led to her divorce from her former marriage.

Following the divorce, Naveen moved in with Geraldine in 1985 and the two lived together for the next seven years.

In 1999, his lovely meeting with Barbara Hershey made him fall in love with her at first sight once more. They met on the set of Drowning On Dry Land, an American indie film.

She was 21 years his senior, but they avoided the age gap because, as they say, age is just a number.
