Everton gaffer Carlo Ancelotti has declared Nigerian international midfielder Alex Iwobi fit for Wednesday’s Premier League clash against Leicester City.
Iwobi was not listed for the Toffees’ defeat of Sheffield Wednesday in a FA Cup fourth round game on Sunday but Ancelotti says the former Arsenal man is fit to play against the Foxes at Goodison Park Wednesday evening. ‘
Iwobi is fit and available for selection against Leicester City,’ said Ancelotti who will be keen on the Nigerian to help provide the goals like he did when the two teams first met last month, providing Richarlison with the assist for the first goal in a 2-0 win at the King Power stadium.
Iwobi was on song in the Toffees win against Wolves the last time out and the Nigerian will be seeking to score his third Premier League goal for the Toffees.
