Andre Onana has been dropped to the bench for Cameroon’s crunch Africa Cup of Nations group clash against Gambia.

The Manchester United goalkeeper missed his nation’s opening game against Guinea after having flight problems following Manchester United’s game with Tottenham on January 14.

He did start their second match – a 3-1 defeat to Group C leaders and defending champions Senegal.

But Cameroon have opted to bring back Fabrice Ondoa for their final group game with Gambia.

The Indomitable Lions are third in their group and require a victory against Gambia – as well as needing Senegal to defeat second-placed Guinea – to automatically qualify from their group.
