Antetokounmpo: ‘We’re Not Done Yet’ …Nigerian-Greek issues strong warning to the rest of the league

Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Milwaukee Bucks earned a huge win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night, demonstrating they are a real threat to the West team, one of the best in the league in the first half of the season.

The Bucks were led by Giannis’ 36 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 assists. The Greek Freak also made some interesting plays during the game, demonstrating he’s still one of the best two-way players in the league. The 25-year-old was feeling himself and that didn’t change after the game was over.

The back-to-back defending MVP sent a big message to the NBA, stating that the Bucks are just getting started and their rivals will have a hard time stopping them (11:36).

“We cannot go to the end of the season to the playoffs and lose two or three in a row and then get to that panic mode again. We got to be able to lose… and be able to get out of it snap out of it,” Giannis told reporters.

The young forward insisted that the Bucks need to believe in themselves and the league must be on notice of this team, who wasn’t going through the best moment and now are inspired, beating other contenders.

“It’s not over, it’s not, we’re not done yet… Even when you’re up, even when you’re down, you have to keep learning, and there’s no panic here, there’s no panic. Keep creating good habits, keep playing good basketball, and you just gotta hope that it’s all gonna work out,” the two-time MVP mentioned.

Things look very promising for Giannis and his team and he knows that. They need to take advantage of their momentum and continue beating big rivals. However, the real test for this team will come in the postseason and the Greek Freak appears to be ready to figure things out and finally play in the NBA Finals.
