Anthony Joshua may accept Mike Tyson’s training offer after Eddie Hearn’s comments | Boxing | Sport

“I think our chemistry was really good but I’m not going to lose sleep over [whether he chooses me].”

Hearn explained the reasons for speaking to potential coaches was to understand the different techniques and mindset while out in the States, and suggested the Brit should base his camp in America to ‘freshen him up’.

The winner between AJ and Usyk in the rematch appears set to face Tyson Fury in a unification bout after the Brit retained his title in his epic grudge trilogy match against Deontay Wilder last month.

A deal between the British rivals was supposedly close to being struck earlier this year in a highly-anticipated fight to unify the division and crown the undisputed champion of the world as the compatriots held all four heavyweight belts.

However, complications arose when Wilder triggered a clause forcing the American to fight Fury for the third time and an arbitration ruled in favour of the Bronze Bomber.

Despite their obstacles, Joshua recently swore he will do all he can to fight his Fury.

“I know what people are saying about boxing politics, but I’ll promise before the end of my career I will have done everything in my power to fight Tyson Fury,” Joshua told The Daily Mail.
