Aribo Thanks God For Premiership, Europa Goals

Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo is relishing his recent goalscoring form for Rangers by taking to social media to express his gratitude to God.

Aribo scored a goal and provided an assist in Rangers’ 4-1 win over Dundee United Sunday night to bring his Scottish Premiership goals to six this season.

The Nigerian star had also scored his first Europa League goal this season in the 4-3 away win at Belgian side Antwerp last Thursday.

The 24-year old took to his Instagram and Twitter handles to celebrate the goals with two separate pictures in his matchday jerseys thanking God.

Sunday’s posting after win over Dundee reads: @J_Aribo19 ‘+3.. (ball).. thank you God (praying hand)’ while earlier posting after win over Antwerp reads: @J_Aribo19 ‘All Glory to God (ball and praying hand)’

During the same period, the groin injury also kept him out of Villarreal’s Copa Del Rey games against Tenerife, Girona and Levante.
