Arsenal Vs Everton: Iwobi Seeking Third EPL Goal For The Toffees In 53 Games

Alex Iwobi will be desperate to start scoring the goals for Everton as the Toffees seek a first ever Premier League double over north London side,Everton at the Emirates stadium Friday night.

The Nigerian international has scored just two Premier League goals for Everton in 52 games since he joined in the summer of 2019 from Arsenal with his second goal coming well over three months ago in the Toffees’ 2-1 win at the Molineux stadium against Wolves.

Iwobi will now be seeking a change in fortune against a club he scored 11 times for and bagged 19 assists in 149 Premier League games.

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has declared the club’s Nigerian import is in good condition for the game as the Toffees target their 10th away win of the season.

Since his switch from the Emirates stadium to Goodison Park,Iwobi has featured thrice against the Gunners.He won one and drew one of the two games played at Goodison Park and lost the third away at the Emirates stadium.

The Nigerian will now be hoping his performance Friday night if he is selected will make Arsenal fans query the wisdom in farming him out at the last minute in the summer of 2019.

He will also be hoping he scores his third goal for the Toffees in the league since September 2019 and fourth goal in three years since he scored for Arsenal in the 2-1 win at Huddersfield in February 2019.

For this term,Iwobi will be eyeing his 17th start in 28 games in the competition for the Toffees
