Boavista will be boosted by the return of centre-back, Chidozie Awaziem from suspension when they face Belenenses SAD in a Portuguese Primeira Liga game at the Estadio Nacional on Sunday.
Awaziem picked up his second red card of the season on March 13 when Boavista suffered a 2-0 defeat against Benfica in a Portuguese Primeira Liga encounter that held at the Estadio da Luz.
The Nigerian defender was issued a straight sending off by the match official, Manuel Mota as early as the eight minute of the Portuguese top-flight encounter which was his 19th this season.
As a result of this, the versatile Super Eagles defensive-minded player missed the league fixture which saw Boavista fall 1-0 to fellow strugglers, Farense prior to the international break.
But as Boavista visit Belenenses at the Estadio Nacional on Sunday, as the sides lock horns in an important game at the bottom end of the Primeira Liga log, Awziem returns for his 20th game.
Boavista currently sit in the relegation playoff place, level on points with the bottom two even as Awaziem could go on to re-form a familiar partnership with Cristian Devenish at the back.
