Ramon Azeez says he is ready to help Cartegena escape relegation from the Spanish second (Segunda) division after sealing his six-month loan deal from LaLiga side, Granada.
Azeez joined Cartegena on the last day of the winter transfer after featuring in just four games for Granada in the ongoing LaLiga season and the Nigerian is rearing to go.
”I am ready to play against Real Oviedo on Saturday. I have told the gaffer Luis Carrión I am available for selection. I am very happy to be here and pleased with the reception from my teammates two of whom are my old teammates (Aburjania and José Angel),’said the Nigerian in an interview with the club’s official website.
Azeez believes Cartegena who are second from bottom in the Spanish second division table can escape relegation. The club are two points from safety and the Nigerian says the club must go one game at at time.
”We have to be ready, take each match as it comes. First is Oviedo this weekend and that’s what we should be thinking about,’ he said.
