Umar Sadiq has been linked with a €60m big money move to Bayern Munich who are set to rekindle their interest in the Nigerian striker.
The forward who currently stars for Spanish second-tier side Almeria could be heading to the German Bundesliga champions in the summer.
Reports monitored on AS claims the reigning world champions are interested in the former Nigerian youth international who has four years left on his contract.
Sadiq moved to Spain last October and he has been in fine goals coring form with 18 goals in 34 matches as Almeria aim to return to La Liga.
The 24-year old was called-up for Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho in March.
But Almeria stopped him from honoring his debut full international invitation due to Covid-19 protocols.
Sadiq who is leading Almeria’s charge to return to the Spanish topflight has a monetary value of €8m on Transfermarkt.
The lanky striker could, therefore, link up with other Nigerian stars like Anthony Ujah and Taiwo Awoniyi in the Bundesliga if the deal materializes.
There are also the likes of Felix Uduokhai, Kingsley Ehizibue and other Nigerian players in Germany.
Three players of Nigerian descent, David Alaba, Joshua Zirkzee and Jamal Musiala were part of the Bayern side that won the Champions League last season.
