Wilfred Ndidi says the Super Eagles will give their all to ensure they beat Benin Republic on Saturday to atone for the disappointment of giving up a 4-0 lead against Sierra Leone last November at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin, capital of Edo state.
Ndidi was not in the squad that disappointed last November but the influential Leicester City midfielder who helped his English Premier League side to send Manchester United packing in this year’s FA Cup in England believes the players have learnt from that unsavoury experience and will make amends in Port Novo on Saturday.
‘We are disappointed with what happened the last time we played at home against Sierra Leone and this match is a perfect opportunity for us to redeem ourselves. This is a game in which we must give 100%, give our all,’ said the former RC Genk star
