Ademola Lookman believes that Fulham need to raise its performance even as the Premier League season continues for the London-based club to escape relegation when the campaign ends.
Lookman netted his third Premier League goal of the season in 15 games on Wednesday but that could not prevent Fulham from losing 2-1 to Manchester United at Craven Cottage.
United went top of the table with the win, so can the Whites take positives from the fact that there was virtually nothing between the sides throughout the 90 minutes?
“Most definitely,” Lookman said. “We still feel we can raise our performance, raise the bar, keep on raising the levels, and we’ll look to do that.
“This is the Premier League, every single game is hard. Everybody knows that and I feel like if we can just keep on applying what we do every single day in training and work on the little details, I think we’ll be good.”
