Breaking: Moses Simon still out injured …Misses Nantes Ligue 1 clash vs Lens

Moses Simon will not play any part in helping Nantes to get back to their best form when they play host to Lens in a Ligue 1 game at the Stade de la Beaujoire on Sunday.

Simon is still on the injury sidelines after picking up a muscle problem in training on Friday, January 8 which made him miss Nantes draw with Montpellier last time out.

Prior to the league clash with Montpellier, Nantes announced Simon sprained his ankle in morning training. The 25-old winger has scored only twice in 15 games this term.

Coach Raymond Domenech said in his pre-match presser: “Regarding Moses Simon, he raced more or less normally on Friday. Not yet with side support but on straight races, that’s fine.

“He doesn’t hurt anymore. He will attack again with the preparer at the start of the week but even for Metz, I think it will be a little too fresh plus the Monaco game.”
