Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye kept his fourth clean sheet in 10 Dutch Ertedivise matches Wednesday evening when he helped his club,Sparta Rotterdam to a 1-0 win away at Fortuna Sittard.
It was the Nigerian’s third away clean sheet of the season after shutting out RKC Waalwijk at the Mandemakers Stadion in November.It was his first clean sheet of the season as Sparta Rotterdam ran away 2-0 winners.
He was made it a consecutive clean sheet when his club fired six past visiting ADO Den Haag at the Sparta-stadion “Het Kasteel” before travelling with Sparta Rotterdam to the De Grolsch Veste last December where he shut out Tyronne Ebuehi’s FC Twente.
Okoye has however conceded 12 goals in the other six games and will be seeking his fifth clensheet when Sparta Rotterdam host PSV Eindhoven who are third on the log and just a point behind joint league leaders,Ajax and Vitesse
