Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru is in Istanbul, Turkey to complete his six month loan deal from French Ligue 1 side, AS Monaco to Super Lig side, Galatasaray.
Onyekuru landed at Istanbul Airport from Paris, France Saturday morning and will undergo his medicals before signing the loan deal which has an option to make the move permanent in the summer.
On Friday, Galatasaray announced at Istanbul’s Public Disclosure Platform that it started negotiations for the temporary transfer of the former Everton of England player.
Onyekuru played on loan in Galatasaray during the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons.
The Nigerian footballer played in four official matches for Monaco this season, making two starts and provided one assist.
The young football player said he was happy to come back to Galatasaray.
