BREAKING: Zaidu Sanusi Is 20th Eagle In For AFCON Qualifiers.

Zaidu Sanusi – The defender who helped his club, FC Porto shut out Cristiano Ronaldo and the eventual exit of Juventus from this season’s UEFA Champions League, Zaidu Sanusi has joined his national team colleagues at their Eko Hotels and Suites’ nest in preparations for the two 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games against Benin Republic and Lesotho.

The 23 year old left back who has scored twice and provided an assist for Porto in 35 games in all competitions so far this term arrived the team’s camp Tuesday morning but Complete Sports Breaking could not confirm if he is part of the fitness training that is ongoing as at the time of filling this report as journalists are not allowed into the fitness center at the hotel.

Zaidu Sanusi made his debut for the Super Eagles in the 1-0 loss to Algeria in an international friendly last October and will eyeing his 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualified against the Squirrels of Benin Republic this Saturday in Port Novo.

He made his first competitive debut for Nigeria in the 4-4 draw with Sierra Leone last November at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin City, capital of Edo state.

He is one of the in-form Eagles stars invited for the two qualifying games against Benin Republic and Lesotho.
