Jorginho and N’Golo Kante represent Chelsea while Kevin de Bruyne did enough for Manchester City to warrant his nomination.
4.15pm: Good afternoon and welcome to Express Sport’s live coverage of the Champions League awards.
The accolades will be handed out during the Champions League draw, which you can follow live with us here.
Every year, UEFA hands out annual pirzes for the best individual players and coaches in Europe from the previous season.
A jury comprising of 32 coaches of the teams involved in last season’s competitions along with 55 journalists from UEFA’s member associations decide the vote.
Coaches are forbidden from voting for players from their own clubs.
