4pm: Good afternoon and welcome to Express Sport’s live coverage of the Champions League draw.

Chelsea come in as defending champions and will have a target on their backs this year following last season’s success.

But Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool will fancy their chances in this year’s competition.

United in particular will be hoping to rectify what happened last year after being knocked out in the group stages.

The draw is scheduled to get underway at 5pm, but there could well be some delays to the evening.

In the meantime, Express Sport conducted a simulation of the draw and the results of that can be found here.
