Tottenham could be set to miss out on £10million, with Dele Alli appearing unlikely to feature prominently for Everton again.
If Alli reaches 20 appearances for Everton then Tottenham will receive a fee of £10million.
However, it appears unlikely that Alli, whose Everton contract expires this summer, will reach that landmark.
As reported by The Mirror, Tottenham tried to renegotiate the payment in December but were unsuccessful.
Tottenham suggested that the payment could be reduced to £8m if the required number of appearances was also reduced.
