Eagles to train once today at Teslim Balogun stadium

Teslim Balogun Stadium – The Super Eagles of Nigeria are scheduled to train once today even as the team speed up its preparation for the Saturday’s 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Republic of Benin.

Nigeria lead the Group L table of the AFCON qualifiers with eight points and victory over Benin at the Stade Charles de Gaulle in Porto Novo on March 27 will seal their place at the continental tournament.

The Super Eagles had their first training session on Tuesday evening at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos. Gernot Rohr’s side top Group L with eight points-one point ahead of Benin.

And according to the team’s itinerary for today, March 24, the players will have breakfast at 9am, team meeting will thereafter take place at 10.30am and they will have lunch at 12.30pm.

Their training will hold at 4.30pm also at the Teslim Balogun Stadium just like they had it on Tuesday, dinner will hold at 8pm while their bedtime is at 11pm.
