Ola Aina is set for his 30th Premier League appearance for Fulham which is currently battling for survival against former employers, Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The versatile defender spent more than a decade at Chelsea before teaming up with Torino on loan in the 2018/19 season and joining the Serie A outfit permanently last term.
Aina, however, found his way back into the Premier League earlier this campaign courtesy of Fulham which got promoted from the SkyBet Championship albeit on loan from Torino.
And now, the Super Eagles defender is in line to make his 30th English top-flight appearance for the Cottagers, having already scored twice and made one assist in 29 matches.
Fulham were denied all three points against Arsenal in heartbreaking fashion and the goal-shy team could see any faint hopes of survival further dashed in London on Saturday.
Aina would like nothing more than to put one over his former employers, Chelsea and revealed his full focus is on bringing the points home to the black and white half of SW6.
“It is going to be a tough game, a very tough game,” Aina admitted. “I came through the ranks there, so I know a lot of people, a lot of coaches,” Aina told Fulham’s website.
“It’s going to be a special game for me but nevertheless, the team’s going there to do a job and hopefully, we can. It will be difficult but anyone can beat anyone,” he said.
