Super Eagles defender Tyronne Ebuehi has been named in the Dutch Eredivisie Team of The Week after the Round 23 matches.
The Twente right-back put up a solid performance scoring in the 2-2 home draw against Feyenoord penultimate weekend.
The 25-year old Nigerian also helped in shutting down Feyenoord’s wingers throughout the encounter which marked his 100th Eredivisie appearance.
Ebuehi has now started in all of his 23 Eredivisie appearances for Twente this season after playing full 90 minutes in the 2-2 draw away to Heracles last weekend.
Ebuehi had previously starred for Ado Den Haag in the Dutch Eredivisie making 78 appearances for the side across four seasons from 2014 to 2018 scoring just one goal.
A career threatening injury he copped when he joined Portuguese side, Benfica soon after the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia saw the Super Eagle missed a whole season of football and he had to return to The Netherlands to join FC Twente on a season long loan deal
