Eugenie Bouchard brands Novak Djokovic a ‘cry baby’ ahead of Serb’s US Open bid | Tennis | Sport

“Cry baby” often refers to someone who cries or complains often, potentially a reference to Djokovic’s on-court outbursts.

At the Olympics, the Serb let his frustrations get the better of him and flung his racket into the empty stands when losing a chance to break in the third-set of his bronze medal match against Pablo Carreno Busta, before destroying a second one.

The last time he appeared at Flushing Meadows, he was defaulted for another moment of anger while facing Carreno Busta.

The three-time US Open champion hit a ball away in frustration after being broken in the first set, giving the Spaniard a chance to serve it out, which accidentally made contact with a lineswoman and saw him instantly disqualified from the tournament.
