Fiorentina: Simy’s Too Expensive At €10m

Italian Serie A side Fiorentina are not keen to splash out 10million Euros on Nigerian striker, Simeon Nwankwo declaring that the Crotone forward is too expensive.

Crotone slapped €10million price tag on Simy as they are looking to maximize their profit on Nigerian international who is looking to remain in the Italian topflight following Crotone’s relegation last season.

Fiorentina are looking to sign a striker to boost their attacking prospect ahead of next season and have identified the Nigerian who bagged 20 Serie A goals in 38 matches last season as the ideal player.

Fiorentina however, see the 10million price tag as quite exorbitant are are looking for ways to lower Crotone’s price for the Nigerian international.

To this end the Purple club are considering the possibility of offering a player (Tofol Montiel) plus cash to tempt Crotone to lower their asking price for Simy.

Crotone placed a combined fee of 20m on Simy and Junior Messias but it appears Fiorentina are more keen on the Nigerian star.

Simy is currently valued at 8million Euros in the transfer market and is reported to be drawing interests from some German Bundesliga teams.
