Hagler’s wife: My husband did not die because of Covid-19 vaccine

Covid-19 – Boxing great ‘Marvelous’ Marvin Hagler’s widow says that suggestions the middleweight legend died as a result of a reaction to the Covid-19 vaccine are “stupid” and “nonsense”.

Hagler passed away on Saturday at the age of 66, with thousands of fans left mourning one of the all-time great fighters.

An undisputed middleweight champion between 1980 and 1987, Hagler took part in some of the greatest fights in boxing history, and his passing was marked with several tributes from fight legends around the world.

Rumours quickly began to circulate that he had suffered a reaction to the Covid-19 vaccine which ultimately led to his death, but Kay Hagler insists that isn’t the case.

“After 31 years the love of my life is gone and my life without him no longer makes sense, but I can feel him next to me even now and he’s telling me not to give up and be strong for him,” she wrote on social media.

“Thank you for your love, he loved people so much, he loved you all, he was happy when he read your comments, he was a special person, the most beautiful person I had ever met in all my life.

“I was the only person close to him until the last minute, and I am the only person that know how things went, not even his family know all the details and I do NOT accept to read some stupid comments without knowing really what happened

“For sure [it] wasn’t the vaccine that caused his death.

“My baby left in peace with his usual smile and now is not the time to talk nonsense.”

Kay also confirmed that Hagler will not have a funeral or church service as he “hated” them, but did promise his fans “something special” to remember him in due course.
