Henry Onyekuru has moved closer to winning his second Turkish Super Lig title with Galatasaray with one game more.
Onyekuru contributed an assist to help Galatasaray devour Denizlispor 4-1 away at the Denizli Ataturk Stadi on Tuesday evening.
With the win, Galatasaray are now joint-leaders with Besiktas on 81 points with one more match to conclude the 2020/21 season.
Besiktas lost 2-1 to ten-man Fatih Karagumruk at home while Fenerbahce also fell by the same margin to Sivasspor whose first goal came from Olarenwaju Kayode.
Onyekuru last weekend returned from a muscle injury as Galatasaray beat Besiktas 3-1 in an Istanbul derby to keep its title dreams alive.
The 23-year-old started the game but came off for Muhammed Akturkoglu in the 63rd minute immediately after receiving a yellow card.
Onyekuru played a major role when Gala won the double, Super Lig title and Turkish Cup in his first loan stint in the 2018/19 season.
The Nigerian has featured 14 times for his Turkish outfit so far this term, scoring five times and bagged four assists.
Overall, he has featured 71 times for Gala and has scored 22 goals and bagged 11 assists.
