Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho is on a three-man transfer shortlist, according to reports in Germany.
The list, drawn up by RB Leipzig, is also said to contain Liverpool’s Divock Origi and Nice’s Kasper Dolberg.
According to German outlet Bild, Leipzig could be active before the end of the transfer window as they look to strengthen their Bundesliga title bid. Leipzig are third in the table and just four points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
Bild claim Julian Nagelsmann’s side would like to take one of the trio on loan for the rest of the season.
Iheanacho is back-up to Foxes talisman Jamie Vardy and has made 18 appearances this season, scoring three goals so far, all in the Europa League.
With the Foxes short of strikers, it would be a surprise if Brendan Rodgers allowed Iheanacho to leave without securing a suitable replacement.
