Former Nigeria junior international Isaac Success was on target in Watford’s 2-0 defeat of Swansea in a Skybet championship game at the Vicarage Road stadium.
The goal was the Nigerian’s first in over 30 months as he last scored for the Hornets in 2018.
Success scored the first goal for Watford in their 3-0 demolition of Huddersfield in a Premier League game at the Vicarage Road stadium in October 2018.
It was his second goal in 54 matches in the English topflight before injury ensured he featured in just five games last season when Watford dropped to the Skybet Championship.
This term the Nigerian returned to action just last March and made his their start in 10 games in the game against Swansea.
Success has now scored just thrice in 64 league (Skybet championship and Premier League) appearances since he joined the club in the 2016/17 season and the goals were all scored at the Vicarage Road stadium.
The fully fit Nigerian will now be hoping to be injury free and more game time when Watford resume the new season in the Premier League following their automatic promotion this term.
