Manchester United star Jesse Lingard is reportedly among the Premier League players splashing out on crystal-encrusted toy cars that cost £40,000.
Lingard was a late substitute as United crashed to a 4-2 defeat away at LeicesterCity on Saturday, dropping out of the top four in the process.
He is currently in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford, with the deal bringing in a weekly wage of £75,000, though it appears he will depart at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has become known for his at times flashy purchases since breaking into the United first team under David Moyes in 2013.
And according to The Sun, his latest buy is a £40,000 toy car for his daughter Hope as a birthday present.
The cars are covered in 100,000 Swarovski Xirius-cut crystals that take up to two months to put on the small vehicles.
The car Lingard has bought for Hope was an electric scale model of a Jaguar E-Type, which he was allowed to borrow for a few days before giving it to his daughter.
It has a top speed of 15miles per hour, a fancy carpet interior, hand-stitched leather seats and a personalised number plate.
Should Jesse Lingard sign a new contract with Manchester United? Comment below.
Lingard was pictured handing over a signed shirt to the manufacturer as a thank you, with Hope clearly enjoying her new toy.
Astonishingly, the toy costs the same price as the BMW 5 Series sports car that Lingard currently owns.
The cars are made by Hampshire-based company Half Scale Cars, who work with suppliers such as Tag Heuer and Draper Tools.
Their products are sold exclusively at Harrords, with some models starting at an eye-watering £40,000.
The E-Type car that Lingard has bought for his daughter are only available on request, but orders are taken for any vehicle.
Lingard is not the only Premier League star to splash out on one of the crystal-encrusted cars.
Southampton striker Shane Long has also bought one of the toys for his son Jax, buying the five-year-old a Jaguar XK120.
Lingard’s former team-mate at United and current Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha has also added one of the luxury toys to his stable of vehicles.

The 28-year-old also bought one of the crystal-encrusted E-Types for his son Saint, who is four-years-old.
Lingard will be hoping for a bumper new contract, though is currently unwilling to commit to an extension with United.
That is frustrating Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who recently expressed his desire for Lingard to stay.
“He knows what we want, we want to prolong his contract, we see him as an important player for us,” Solskjaer said.
“It’s obviously up to him to get more playing time, it may be up to me giving him more playing time because he deserves to but every time I pick a team, I have to leave some players out.
“Hopefully we can get a deal sorted for Jesse because we really rate him, he’s a top player and top person who’s good to have around the club.”
