The 36-year-old, who has a contract with Juventus until 2022, has been linked with a move away from the club, potentially to Real Madrid, but Nedved has shot that down.
“Ronaldo is untouchable. He has a contract until June 30, 2022, and he will stay,” Nedved said in an interview with DAZN.
“What happens next will be seen. Cristiano, both on a technical and marketing level, gave us a boost towards the Olympus of football. On his technical level, nothing can be said: he scored more than 100 goals in 120 games.”
There has also been talk that first-time head coach Andrea Pirlo could be dismissed, with Juventus currently 10 points behind leaders Inter in Serie A and out of the Champions League, but Nedved threw his support behind the 41-year-old.
“Pirlo is and will be Juventus’ coach, 100 percent,” he confirmed.
“We married a project with Andrea, knowing that there would be difficulties.”
However, Nedved was far less certain when it came to discussing Paulo Dybala’s future at Juventus.
“We miss him. I don’t think he has played more than 800 minutes for us this year,” he said.
“His presence would guarantee us different options in attack and goals that we have obviously missed so far. He has a contract for one more year and I have nothing more to add to what sporting director [Fabio] Paratici and president [Andrea] Agnelli have already said.
“But it is clear that at Juventus we evaluate all market opportunities.”
