Kane and Son combine to set Premier League record

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min wrote their names into the Premier League record books on Sunday after combining yet again as Tottenham Hotspur beat Crystal Palace.

When the South Korean crossed for Kane to score his second goal of the match, and Spurs’ fourth in the 4-1 victory, it meant the pair had assisted one another for a 14th goal this season.

It means they have broken the all-time competition record of 13 set by Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton for Blackburn Rovers in 1994/95.

The Spurs duo are now only two off the record for the most goal combinations between two players in Premier League history, held by Chelsea legends set by Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard.
