Lazio willing to pay €25m for Onuachu

Serie A club, Lazio are willing to pay €25m for RC Genk Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu but the Belgian club is holding out for at least €25m, according to reports in Italy.

The reports confirmed Lazio are indeed interested in pricing away the free-scoring Nigerian who has scored 35 goals across all competitions this season from the Jupiler league side.

The 26-year-old was linked with a move to Olympic Lyon in January but the French Ligue 1 club instead signed Algerian forward, Islam Slimani from Leicester City.

According to Real Radio, Lazio have shown strong interest in the forward and will look to sign him this summer.

Scottish Premiership club, Glasgow Celtic are also rumoured to be interested in the Nigerian striker.
Genk are willing to sell Onuachu but won’t accept anything less than €30m for the Nigeria international.

He linked up with Genk from Danish club FC Midtylland in 2019.
Meanwhile, Onuachu scored his 33rd league goal on Saturday to help Genk secure a 1-1 draw with Anderlecht.
