Kelechi Iheanacho has scored seven goals in his last five Premier League matches for Leicester, as many as he had in his previous 63 appearances in the competition. His eight goals this season is his joint-highest return in a single campaign in the competition (also eight in 2015/16).
The Nigerian has featured in just 18 games so far this term and has scored eight times while in his first season, he played in 26 games,scoring five of his eight goals in his last four appearances of the campaign.
A goal on Thursday at the King Power stadium when the Foxes host the Baggies in a Premier League matchweek 32 fixture will bring his total tally to 30 in 136 appearances.
He scored eight times in his debut season but could only manage half of the tally the following season before making the switch from the Etihad stadium to the King Power stadium in the summer of 2017.
He scored three times in 21 appearances in his debut season with Leicester and managed only one goal in 30 appearances in the 2018/19 season before bouncing back last season to net five times in 20 games with three of the goals coming in the first half of the season.
