Leke James will be desperate to improve on his goal-scoring form for Al Qadasiya by netting his third Saudi Professional League goal in his tenth appearance for the club.
James can achieve this feat if he gets to hit the back of the net when Al Qadasiya host Al-Faisaly in Thursday’s Saudi Pro League tie at the Prince Saud Bin Jalawi Stadium.
The 28-year-old will also go all out to put an end to his goal drought in the Saudi top-flight which currently stands at three matches, having last netted early last month.
And that was on March 10 when the Nigerian striker opened his goal account for Al Qadasiya by netting a brace in a 3-3 draw with Al-Ain at the Prince Saud Bin Jalawi Stadium.
James is nevertheless coming on strong for Al Qadasiya whom he joined from Molde of Norway in February, having scored twice and made an assist in nine league outings thus far.
Compatriot, Stanley Ohawuchi has so far struck the net on four occasions and contributed seven other assists in 25 Saudi Pro League appearances for Al Qadasiya this season.
The 30-year-old is a normadic footballer, having been at Bayelsa United (Nigeria), Silema Wanderers (Malta), Athletico Beleares (Spain), Zamalek and Wadi Degla (both in Egypt).
