Manchester United star Marcus Rashford saves three players in Wolves Premier League win | Football | Sport

Anthony Martial

When Anthony Martial is in the mood, the United star can be unplayable. He’s been good this season for the most part, scoring five goals from nine outings prior to the match in the Midlands.

But he looked flat against Wolves and cut an increasingly subdued figure at the tip of the club’s attack.

United were right to keep Martial back in the summer, with many previously expecting Ten Hag to cut the player loose.

Yet they clearly need an established No 9 to challenge the France international for a starting berth and to keep him on his toes.

Martial failed to cause the Wolves defence too many problems and he’ll be aiming to get on the scoresheet when United go up against Bournemouth on Tuesday (8pm).
