PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino says Kylian Mbappe will be assessed in training before a decision is made on whether he will face Manchester City.
Mbappe is a doubt for the Champions League semi-final second leg at the Etihad Stadium having missed the weekend’s league win over Lens with a calf injury.
“We need to assess Kylian,” said the former Tottenham manager at his pre-match press conference. “Today he is going to start an individual training session and see if he can be with the team.
“Yes, I am worried for him. There is still one day and we will see and decide if he is going to be available.”
City hold a 2-1 lead after an impressive performance in Paris last week and Guardiola’s men are within touching distance of their first Champions League final.
Pochettino has emphasised the importance of his team taking their chances as they look to overturn two away goals.
The Argentinian said: “Tomorrow we must be ready to suffer and then be clinical and aggressive when we get chances.
“It’s 90 minutes, you need to score twice if we want to go through, that’s the objective and we’re going to try.”
