Mikel Arteta: Gabriel Jesus is ready to go for Fulham clash

Mikel Arteta: Gabriel Jesus is ready to go for Fulham clash- Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Gabriel Jesus is ready to make his debut for the club in their Premier League clash against Fulham on Saturday.

Jesus, who joined Arsenal from Manchester City in a £45 million deal earlier this month, has been training with his new teammates for the past few weeks and is now available for selection.

Arteta said: “Gabriel is ready. He had a good training session yesterday and he will be available for selection.”

The Brazilian international is expected to start up front for Arsenal against Fulham, alongside Eddie Nketiah.

Jesus’s arrival is a major boost for Arsenal, who have been struggling for goals this season. The Gunners have scored just 18 goals in 14 Premier League games so far, and are currently 11th in the table.

Jesus is expected to add a new dimension to Arsenal’s attack, with his pace, dribbling skills and finishing ability. He is also a versatile player who can play in a number of positions, which will give Arteta more options in the attacking third.

Arsenal will be hoping that Jesus can help them to turn their season around and start challenging for the top four.
