Former Nigerian international, Ifeanyi Udeze has said Barcelona stand little chance to stage another dramatic comeback against PSG in the Champions League.
PSG hammered Barcelona 4-1 at Nou Camp in the first leg of their Round of 16 game yesterday with Kyllian Mbappe scoring a hat trick.
It would be recalled that Barcelona reversed a four-goal deficit in the second leg of their Round of 16 Champions League tie against PSG to win 6-5 on aggregate in the 2016/17 season.
Udeze speaking on a sports radio program monitored on Brila FM says he does not see Barcelona coming back from Tuesday’s home loss to PSG.
“I am a Barcelona fan but the current PSG are a more balanced team than that of 2017,” begins the former Super Eagles and West Brom defender.
“Barcelona were able to record that shock and dramatic comeback when they had a bit stronger team while PSG were trying to get into their rhythm.
“But things have changed on both sides now with Barca obviously weakened while PSG are on the ascendancy. This time, Barca will be going away and without fans’ backing.
“So for me this time, I don’t see Barca coming back from this PSG loss,” Udeze sums up.
