Musa unveiled by Pillars, to wear no. 7 jersey

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has been unveiled by Kano Pillars with the former Leicester City and CSKA Moscow attacker to dorn the number seven jersey.

Musa on Tuesday sensationally made his return to Pillars FC for the reminder of the 2020/21 Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

Musa previously played for the Pride of Kano in 2009 where he ended the season as the top scorer in the NPFL with 18 goals.

And that was before he made a move to VVV-Venlo in the Netherlands.

An official statement from the club on Tuesday revealed that the Sai Masu Gida agreed to re-sign their former attacking sensation until the end of the 2020/21 campaign.

Amongst the contractual agreement between Musa and Pillars is that anytime the player gets an offer from abroad, he would leave.

And late Thursday night, Pillars unveiled their latest super-star signing before the commencement of the second stanza of the Nigerian Pro League.

Pillars tweeted: “@Ahmedmusa718’s jersey number at Pillars revealed. Welcome back home, senior man.”

The club’s chairman, Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Jambul presented the Super Eagles captain with his new Pillars jersey.

Musa became a free agent in October when he parted ways with Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr FC.
