Victor Oladipo could definitely be among the players that could change teams at the March 25,2021 trade deadline. Despite having interest in the Rockets’ guard, the Warriors are unlikely to make a move for him.
According to The Athletic, the Rockets’ price for Oladipo is considered ‘steep’ for the Warriors considering the ‘Dubs’ salary cap situation.
“He is among the players they’ve sniffed around,” according to The Athletic. “But the asking price, to this point, has been too steep to even realistically consider, I’ve been told.
Oladipo will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, as he rejected a two-year $45M offer from the Houston Rockets. So, it would be risky for any team to give up assets without some assurance he wants to re-sign.
The Indiana product averages 20.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists this season for the slumping Houston Rockets.
