Agents representing Nuno Tavares are in London for talks which are expected to lead to the defender leaving Arsenal before the end of the month.
Nottingham Forest had been in talks to sign the Portuguese left back but a deal could not be agreed. Aston Villa are one clubs who are interested.
Tavares is available on a permanent deal or a loan with a buy clause.
Arsenal signed Tavares two years ago from Benfica for €8 million. He spent last season on loan at Marseille.
His next move is likely to be to a club in England.
