Okoye now Eagles Joint Most Valuable Goalie…Sparta’s star value soars and Ebuehi’s value also rises

Super Eagles and Sparta Rotterdam first choice goalkeeper is now Super Eagles joint most valuable goalkeeper after his market value rose to €600,000 following the review of transfer market values in the Dutch Eredivise by Transfermarkt.

Okoye’s value all through 2020 stood at €150,000 and the Nigerian who moved from the lower tier of football in Germany to join Dutch Eredivise side,Sparta Rotterdam last summer has been in great form,keeping three clean sheets in eight appearances in the Eredivisie.

The Nigerian’s new value matches that of Kaizer Chief of South Africa’s Daniel Akpeyi who hiterto was Nigeria’s most valuable goalkeeper.

Another Nigerian whose market value rose in the Netherlands is right back,Tyronne Ebuehi who returned to active football this season after surviving a career-threatning injury that sidelined him for a whole football season soon after movint to Benfica in Portugal aftre the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Ebuehi moved on loan to Twente FC in the Netherlands and has been a constant fixture in the team’s matchday squad list,starting all 14 Eredivise games played by his club so far this term.

Ebuehi is now valued at €900,000,€200,000 more than his value back in October.
