Former manager of Parma, Enrico Fedele has labelled Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen a unique football player who also has something that the others do not have in their game.
Osimhen joined Napoli in a big move from Ligue 1 outfit, Lille last summer but struggled in his first few months at the club and spent over two months on the sidelines.
The 22-year-old picked up a shoulder injury on international duty with Nigeria, his return to action was also delayed after he tested positive to Covid-19 early this year.
He has, however, hit top form in recent weeks after hitting the net eight times and contributing one assist in his last 14 top-flight appearances for the Partenopei.
Fedele spoke to Marte Sport Live about Napoli while also giving an opinion on Osimhen who has done great exploit for the Azzurri as the Serie A season runs to an end.
“Victor Osimhen? You see a video of him dribbling with a child in the middle of the street and it’s a good thing.” Furthermore, Fedele added: “He lacks coordination.
“He does things uncoordinated due to his physical conformation but he has something that other strikers do not have, courage, enthusiasm and the desire to arrive.
“Sometimes, he exceeds but it is part of his character. Morphologically, he’s a bit ugly to look at, so in a league where coordination is important, he needs to improve.
“He should have an innate talent to handle the tool with imagination and a sense of grace.” Osimhen should face Verona on Sunday when Napoli conclude their campaign.
