Robert Lewandowski ‘open to Real Madrid move’

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski is reportedly open to moving to Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.

The Poland international has enjoyed a legendary career at the Allianz Arena, scoring 294 goals from just 329 appearances and winning silverware on a regular basis.

However, at the age of 32 and having spent 11 years in Germany, it appears that the player is eyeing up a new challenge.

According to AS, Lewandowski’s preference would be a switch to the Bernabeu at some point in the near future.

Keen not to lose their best player for a cut-price fee or on a free transfer, Bayern are said to be considering long-term replacements for their talisman.

Lewandowski still has two years remaining on his contract at the Bundesliga champions.
