After colliding with center-back Victor Laguardia in the first half of Saturday’s match against Alaves, the Argentine attacker was pulled out.
Following the uncomfortable collision in the penalty area, Aguero was able to get back to his feet, but it was evident that he was in pain, and he was replaced on 42 minutes.
The 33-year-heart old’s rate was reportedly considerably higher than it should have been, and he was taken to hospital while his colleagues fought to a 1-1 draw in their first game since Ronald Koeman was fired.
Aguero will remain under the supervision of medical professionals for at least two more days to undergo cardiology tests, according to Marca.
Sergi Barjuan is functioning as Barcelona’s temporary manager until Koeman’s successor is named, and in his post-match interview, he recalled Aguero’s substitution.
