PSG are reportedly planning a stunning last-minute move to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund in what would be a sensational end to the summer transfer window. The Parisians, who have already completed the signings of Archaf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Gini Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi this summer, are now preparing to immediately splash the £138million they will receive from Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappe.
Haaland looked certain to move earlier this summer but talks over a potential exit from Signal Iduna Park failed to get off the ground and the 21-year-old was willing to respect his contract.
Dortmund were always clear that they were prepared to keep their Norwegian sensation for another season, even if it means losing him on the cheap next summer when his £64m release clause kicks in.
Chelsea were the only club that looked prepared to sign the striker and the Blues were ready to smash their transfer record to get a deal over the line.
However, Dortmund made it clear to them during informal talks that Haaland was not for sale at any price, while it was reported in the German press that it would take £150m to change their stance.

But with PSG set to receive around £138m plus potential add-ons for Mbappe, the club believe they have the financial power to facilitate a potential deal.
The mouthwatering prospect of a front three involving Neymar, Messi and Haaland is now a realistic possibility if PSG decide to press ahead with a move.
Dortmund have also been clear that they did not want to lose both Haaland and Jadon Sancho in the same transfer window.
The England international is now of course a Manchester United player after finally completing a £72m move to Old Trafford.
Donyell Malen of PSV was brought in to replace him and Dortmund are unlikely to entertain the idea of frantically searching for Haaland’s successor in the final days of the window.
Instead, they are expected to rebuff any bid that comes in for ‘The Terminator’ in the final days of the window before Tuesday night’s deadline.
PSG have also been linked with a move for Cristiano Ronaldo but the Juventus forward now looks on course to complete a sensational return to English football with Manchester City.
Everton forward Richarlison is also a target with his agent in Paris today for talks with the club.
