Trump hits out at LeBron’s racist rants

Trump – LeBron James has been at the centre of Former US President Donald Trump‘s wrath after his tweet targeted at the police officer who shot Ma’Khia Bryant.

The Los Angeles Lakers star has often spoken out about race issues in the United States, and vented his frustration on social media having seen another life taken. This time a 16-year-old girl who was trying to stab another girl when she was shot by a police officer.

“You’re next,” LeBron posted on Twitter, along with a photo of the officer who fatally shot Bryant. LeBron has, though, since deleted the tweet, saying that it was “being used to create more hate”.

Never one to bite his tongue, former US President Donald Trump has hit out at the NBA star.

“LeBron James should focus on basketball rather than presiding over the destruction of the NBA, which has just recorded the lowest televisions RATINGS, by far, in the long distinguished history of the league,” Trump said in a statement.

“His RACIST rants are divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning. He may be a great basketball player, but he is doing nothing to bring our country together!”
